Wall Decorations
Ancient Egyptian wall decorations were carved in a very low relief with a great deal of incised (mark or decorate an object or surface with a cut or a series of cuts.) detail. The Egyptians were related to having many decorative arts.
Wall decorating in those times were used to record history. They would and can also tell stories of the ancestors of the ancient times. They would tell stories of the adventures that many had; tell stories about hunting and gathering. Ancient wall decorations would also tell and show people of the ancient religious beliefs and rituals.
